Traditional Style of Tattoo in the Philippines

In the northern part of the Philippines lived an old woman who is considered one of the few remaining Traditional Tattoo artist in the Philippines. Decades ago tattoo were of great importance for both men and women, for men it was a sign of bravery and will be earned upon success in headhunting while for women it was a symbol of beauty which they believed will stay with them on the afterlife.
